1 Chronicles 16:8-36 & 43
Not only was King David a warrior, he was a worshipper! After bringing the Ark of God back to Jerusalem, David threw the biggest praise party the world had ever known! People were singing loudly, dancing wildly and praising God with all of their might! If you can imagine a righteous Mardi Gras, that’s what this was. As a part of the worship extravaganza, David gave the worship leader Asaph and his brothers a song to sing. Take time to read it for yourself – 1 Chronicles 16:8-36. Within this beautify and boisterous song, we are instructed and inspired to worship God in a myriad of ways that continue to this day. Here is a summary of all the ways to praise our Savior and Lord.
